Cat Doucet
Daly Joseph Doucet, Sr., known as Cat Doucet (November 8, 1899 – February 9, 1975), was a Democratic politician and a law enforcement officer from St. Landry Parish in south Louisiana. He served as sheriff of St. Landry Parish for a total of twenty years. ==Background== Doucet was born in Grand Prairie in St. Landry Parish to Lucius Doucet and the former Aza Lafleur (1879–1970).〔 He was educated in the public schools of Ville Platte, the seat of Evangeline Parish. In 1919, Doucet married the former Anna Dorcey (1892–1979)〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Social Security Death Index )〕〔Some sources spell "Dorcey" as "Darcey."〕 of Lafayette.
